Managing Citations with Zotero, Part I
Wed. March 10, 1-2 p.m.

Learn how to register for Zotero and install it in your browser, create an online account, collect bibliographic data from databases and websites, and create a basic bibliography. Bring your laptop, if you’re using one for your thesis.

Managing Citations with Zotero, Part 2
Wed. March 17, 1-2 p.m.
PC Classroom, Clapp Library
Learn how to organize your citations, install the Cite While You Write plug-in for Word/Open
Office, and incorporate citations as you draft your chapters. Bring your laptop, if you’re using one for your thesis.

Using Archives & Primary Sources

Learn tips for finding content in archival collections (digital & physical collections), setting up an archival visit, managing information you find in archives, and using Google Books & the Internet Archive.

Research Tools on the Web
Wed. April 14, 1-2 p.m.

Learn about free tools you can use during the research process to help you (and your information) stay organized. We’ll cover bookmarking tools, citation tools, and timeand task-management tools (e.g., del.icio.us, Zotero, Remember the Milk).
